Red Tractor Assured Food Standards have been at the forefront of maintaining and developing standards throughout the whole food industry.
Working alongside the Red Tractor Scheme, the Assured Produce certification ensures all crops have been grown following the high protocols that are required to sell into the Great British market place.
Linking Environment and Farming encourages us to farm in an environmentally and sustainable way by utilising the Integrated Farm Management methods. LEAF are also the body behind Open Farm Sunday, encouraging the public to find out just how the crops grown on our farm reaches their plate.
Marks & Spencer has its own farm assurance scheme, which guarantees high-quality food reaches their stores. It sets standards across the whole agricultural supply chain and is more extensive in its requirements than other schemes.
Nurture was launched in 1992, to ensure Tesco delivers world class quality produce to it’s customers. It is an exclusive, independently accredited, quality standard that assures Tesco vegetables are grown in an environmental and responsible way. Each grower is independently audited and monitored regularly to ensure we continue to meet the exacting standard. With three levels available (Bronze, Silver and Gold) we are proud to have achieved this standard to the Gold level.
GLOBALG.A.P. is a private sector body that sets voluntary standards for the certification of production processes of agricultural products around the globe. The GLOBALG.A.P. standard is primarily designed to reassure consumers about how food is produced on the farm by minimising detrimental environmental impacts of farming operations, reducing the use of chemical inputs and ensuring a responsible approach to worker health and safety as well as animal welfare. Through achieving this standard we are able to work on expanding our overseas operations.
