Carrots

As the nation’s favourite vegetable – 75% of Britons say they eat carrots regularly and we consume around10 billion carrots each year. We are able to buy british carrots from shops nearly 11 months of the year.

The deep, fertile uniform sandy soil, characteristic of the Brecklands enable us to be one of the earliest producers of new season carrots in the country.

Due to the high respiration rate of the immature crops they are lifted in the cool of the night and delivered direct to customers by the following morning, ensuring maximum freshness. 

Availability of both top lifted and crowned crops from late May/early june. 

We have washing, grading and packing lines capable of producing 500g up to 1 tonne bags in various formats.
